It has been awhile since I have posted anything.  My apologies!  We have been so busy with the day to day of building that I just didn’t have the time.  I never realized how much time it took to pick out bathroom tile and color for the walls and granite and the list goes on and on.,  but we did it and there is color!  What I have realized is,  the more you do and the more you get done, the more you realize there still is a lot to do.  We are in the ending stages of building and going in for final inspections and now we need to furnish them.  I thought I had a lot of that covered but I don’t.  There are curtains to buys, rods to hang, the right table to go with the theme and of course the right dinnerware……Coffee pots, baking utensils and some much more.  I am working on a master list of the essentials  that I can duplicate, but each casitas has its own look and feel and everything has to flow, so it is not as easy as buying 7 of everything..  This is the fun part but it takes time, because you don’t always find it the first time you go out.  I am trying to work on one casita at a time, but if I find something for the others, I pick it up.  Right now I am working on “The Cottage”.  It is a 2bdrm 2 bath casita’s with a private patio.  I am going to enclose a picture of it from the outside.  One view will be looking at the casita and the other is looking out FROM the casita.  So far, I only have several pieces of furniture for this one, but have most of the bedroom accessories.  This is a very bright and cheery casita with the most private views.  It is one of my favorites.  This week I am going to hang curtains in the bathroom and hang some pictures on the wall.  I antiqued a piece of furniture and we’ll see how that works in the corner as a desk.  I am on the hunt for the perfect kitchen table in the off white tones and haven’t found anything that fits so far. May have to take a trip to Phx for that.   Hope everyone enjoys their Thanksgiving.    Till next time.
